| This season the league presented £2000 to four registered charities each receiving £500. Those charities benefiting from our donations were: Action for Children, Shrewsbury Mencap Gateway Club, Rainbow Ward Paediatric Oncology Ward at RSH and SKIDS (Shrewsbury children with insulin dependency). This season we also thank Belle Vue Youth, Baschurch, Church Stretton Royals, Meresiders, Meole Brace, Shrewsbury Up & Comers, Shrewsbury Juniors, Sporting Colts and SAHA for making additional donations to the league’s Charity Fund. All charities were really please with the leagues donation which helps raise awareness to the good work they do and also shows how the football family contributes to the community | |
